Why can’t people catch one Nasseu Grouper in the summer, then freeze it until the winter, and thaw the fish when they want to eat it on their tradition?
They certainly could do that. However, Nassau have been eaten traditionally around Christmas time, fresh from the ocean, for decades. So, freezing it would be breaking with that tradition.
